KL Mewah Music Centre was established in 1983 and named after the residential garden Mewah Garden, Cheras in which it was first located.
 
We have come a long way from a humble beginning on a floor with less than 100 pupil, we have thrived and we non have an enrollment to about 2000 pupil and 50 dedicated and trained full-time and part-time instructors in our three centres in Cheras, Pandan Jaya, Pandan Indah. It is our sirm belief that every child has access to education, in this case music education, that's why we cater to the need to special children too. Special offer one given in these children.

The letter & activities provide are intended to develop the potential to individual in a holistic and integrated manner in order to module individual, who are intellectually emotionally and physically balanced, creative and harmonious.
 
We take pride in the achievement to our school children. We are innovative to keep abreast to the times. Thus we organise professional development programme and technical courses for our staffs from time to time.
 
Besides, we conduct course on parenthood / parenting. In order to poster strong family ties we encourage the children and their parents to learn and play together.
 
In the next 5 years, we are moving towards a new era of multiple intelligence ICT and Humanism.
 
We deal in a wide range of musical instruments, modern as well as traditional Chinese classical instruments.
